Strategy turned into a working method for the team that sells. What to say, to whom, in what order and how it is measured.

The problem it solves

A strategy that never reaches the sales team stays in the boardroom. Each salesperson keeps their own pitch, handles objections as best they can and shows the product their own way. The result depends on who is serving the customer, not on the plan.

This area brings the strategy down to the ground. The playbook says which actions to take, with what owner, cost, KPI and date. The talk track says what to tell each segment and how to answer each objection. The demo follows a logic that leads to the close. And the training makes sure the team uses all of it.

Who it's for

For companies with a sales or account team that works without a shared method. For companies launching a product that need their team to sell it from day one. For sales leaders bringing in new salespeople who want to shorten their learning curve.

And for agencies whose client asks for a talk track, a demo or training for their sales team.

When to bring it in

  • After the strategy is defined, to turn it into execution.
  • Before a launch, so the team arrives prepared.
  • When conversion drops and the problem lies in the sales conversation, not in the product.
  • When the team grows and the know-how lives in the heads of two or three people.

Method layer and local layer

Every playbook we write has two layers. The method layer captures what doesn't change: the process, the stages of the sale, the qualification criteria, the measurement. The local layer adapts all of that to each market, channel and team: the vocabulary, the decision-makers, the buying pace.

That is why the same playbook can work in Santo Domingo and in Madrid without being the same document. We explain it in more detail in commercial playbook.

How it fits the method

This area is the core of the Playbook phase. It needs the diagnostic first: without defined segments, ICP and positioning, a talk track is just a list of phrases.

In the Strategic direction phase, we review whether the team uses the playbook, which actions work and which need rewriting, always against the baseline set at the start.

  1. Phase 1: Diagnostic and Strategy

Understand the market and the problem before proposing anything. The baseline is set.

Deliverable: Strategy document and presentation to leadership.

  2. Phase 2: Playbook

The strategy becomes actions with an owner, cost, KPI and date.

    Deliverable: Playbook and kickoff.

  3. Phase 3: Strategic direction

We direct third-party execution and review results against the baseline.

    Deliverable: Periodic report and committee.
